    Guided Tour: Stiftsgarten

    Visit one of Bern's most beautiful gardens! On a one-hour guided tour, herb expert Winja will tell you all the botanical secrets just below the cathedral platform. Find out which wild plants can be used for culinary purposes and why compost plays an important role in urban gardens. After the tour we will toast with a glass of Stiftsgarten syrup.

    Your Drink on the Menu

    Make your favorite drink a bit famous! Your personal signature drink will become the «Cóctel del Día» at the popular Can Cocal restaurant.     Fishing in El Cuyo

    El Cuyo is a fishing village - experience the most authentic adventure of all: you will accompany fisherman Lalo on the high seas. Depending on the time of year, you can help with the manual octopus fishing or catch corvinas with the «cordel» - or at least try to.

    Hand-woven Hammock

    True hammock craftsmanship is still practiced in El Cuyo. We will bring you a hand-woven hammock to Switzerland, just in time for the summer. If you have enough time, you can even choose the color - but beware, it takes up to 1.5 months to complete such a work.

    Flamingo Tour

    El Cuyo is famous for the «Flamenco Rosa» - visit them in their natural habitat. Guide Memo will take you and up to 4 friends on a boat trip on the salt water lagoon La Ría. He will tell you about the nature reserve, the mangroves, El Cuyo and its history... And he'll tell you all about the flamingos. And he has quite a few of them, we promise.

    Shredder Godmother*godfather

    There are as many palm trees in El Cuyo as there are sands by the sea - and hence, as many palm leaves. They are all burned - even though they would be valuable food for compost. But to compost them, the fibres have to be shredded. We need a shredder to do this. Would you like to be its godmother*godfather? Then the machine will get your name - and you will get a video of it in action

    Transporter Godmother*father

    We want to transport at least 300 compost bins per week - a three-wheeled cargo motorcycle will help us. We have the possibility to buy the used motorcycle «Hercules» (see picture in the slideshow) - if you help us, it will soon bear your name. If you become its godfather*godmother, we will rename it «Hercules» - clearly visible, obviously.
