Itʼs «all or nothing» for wemakeit projects: If a project does not reach its funding goal, the backers will be refunded the money they paid.
-
Payments through bank wire transfer and Bitcoin will be converted into a credit. You can use this credit to support other projects or have the amount refunded anytime you wish.
-
If a project does reach or surpass its funding goal, the project initiators receive the amount paid minus 10% (6% service charge, 4% transaction fees).
-
Projects involving financial investments as well as disaster relief-related projects will not be accepted.
-
The editorial board has the right to reject projects when these do not conform to our guidelines and our values or if a project is not suitable for any other reason. The editorial board can also stop and delete any project at any time.
-
The editorial team reserves the right to edit project image, title and lead text. Project images containing text elements cannot be accepted.
-
Projects must not be published on other crowdfunding platforms at the same time.
-
As soon as the project goes online, duration of the campaign, funding goal and the project’s content cannot be changed anymore.
-
It is not possible for the project initiators to stop their projects prematurely and neither can projects be deleted once the campaign has ended.
-
wemakeit project initiators are fully responsible for the planning and managing of their campaign, the project’s implementation, communication with backers and shipping of the rewards.
-
Data protected by copyrights must not be published unless the project initiators dispose of the necessary rights of use.
-
It is prohibited to disseminate defamatory, offensive or illegal information. In particular, pornographic, racist, glorifying violence or similar contents must not be published.
-
Project initiators are the exclusive owners of the rights pertaining to the project.
-
Project pages must meet our transparency criteria. This is particularly important when it comes to the project initiators behind them (in video, images, profile, project description), specific projects, and the use of funds. We believe that transparency is key to keeping our community informed and involved in the project process.
-
It is our mission to make this world more sustainable and democratic together with our community. We would particularly like to promote projects that contribute to this mission and reserve the right to reject projects that work against this mission.
