Postcards of falling dancers from the series «The voice of emptiness»
size 30x21cm
«With this on-going research, I aim to explore the point in which falling almost becomes a «desire»; what does it mean to go against one’s own instinct of protection? How long can one accept falling without trying to save oneself?
It is scary to fall.
It is scary to fail.
It is scary to get hurt.
But, is it possible to grow without falling, without failing? Is it possible to grow without exposing one’s own vulnerability and taking the risk of getting hurt?
These pictures reflect all these thoughts, speaking through a silent language of falling bodies.»
