Yay! Fancy a safe spot for your daily bits and pieces? Send us your fabrics 14 cm x 25 cm and we will make the most fancy container you’ve ever seen. (no fleece, no silk). Do you love paper goods, maps, doilies and gift wrap? Do you like to write letters and do you always jot down notes in your notepad? We have a surprise for you! You will receive a selection of paper for you to write, decorate, make notes and whatever else your heart desires.

Get famous! For our next fashion show in Basel we are looking for catwalk models that can help us present our eco fashion line. Age and shape don’t matter. You qualify with a natural look and breathtaking smile :) Just send us a selfie and a brief description of your style!

Sewing. Are you a beginner? Never touched a sewing machine before? You feel unsure and lack basic knowledge? No worries! Stop by and our designers will introduce you to the blissful magic of sewing. We’ll take some pictures for our homepage, if you agree.

Meeting with your friends: Do you like spending time with your friends, discussing plans for a better world? Do you wish you had a stylish appetizer set? Let us suprise you with a fun and original way to serve your friends snacks.

Graphic artist. You’ve got some great design ideas? In oder to present them to potential business partners you’d like to visualize your thoughts? Send us a picture of your materials and a description of your plan. We have an illustrator on board who does amazing sketches. Of course we’ll respect copyrights. But if you agree, we’d like to take a picture of the sketch for our homepage :)

We want to sew a beautiful and very unique manicure set for you. Provide us with 4 of your favorite fabrics, each 25cm x 25cm. You find this too complicated? OK, simply trust us. Upcycling with paper: To motivate the next generation to have an interest in upcycling products. Your kids will have the opportunity to make three different projects using wonderful, colorful recycled paper and carton.

Upcycling with fabric: Get your kids excited about sewing. Be creative with this exciting package of different, beautiful pre-loved textiles and other materials, plus three sets of instructions.

Children. Your child is a fashionista? At the next show of the new collection your little star plays on the catwalk together with other little models. Before the show your son or daughter gets involved in the design process.

Great! Any old favorite shirts or sweaters hidden in the back of your wardrobe? Send it to us and we’ll make a fancy bag for you. Or simply trust us! We’ll handcraft a bag from the materials we have on store and send it to you. We can’t wait to see you and your bag on your first night out. Send us a picture, please!

Skirt. Have you been wanting a really unique skirt of your own forever? Bring or send us your bed linen, tablecloths, or curtains. We’ll style and produce your new favorite piece. Don’t have any old fabrics? No worries. We do! Just tell us your color and we will create YOUR skirt. We can’t wait to see you and your skirt on your first night out! With all your heart and mind. Be our honorary member! For one year we’d like to invite you as a counselor into our non-profit organization «zweitesDesign». In this role you’ll become an important part of our evolutionary history and build the future of this ambitious project. We look forward to welcoming you!

To the office people out there – This is for you and up to 4 of your colleagues. We invite you to an individual after-work upcycling activity including food and drinks. Together we’ll develop a theme, select the materials, e. g. old binders, outdated promotional stuff, and make some cool and useful items out of them. Fun time! We’ll take pics.

To the Fashionistas out there: to you and up to 4 of your friends we’d like to offer one evening in our workshop «Sewing Bar». Bring your own sewing projects and exchange ideas with each other. One of our designers will be more than happy to assist you. Maybe this is the beginning of your own fashion label? Food and drinks provided by us.

Become a designer! For the next show of «Aufgehübscht in Baselwest» you are the one to define the main elements of the collection. You will also be part of the creative team, which will choose the name of the edition and can have the possibility to be the presenter during the show. For your memories we will give you a photo documentary or some live illustration of the event. Get excited!

That’s beyond words! We would love to organize a colorful birthday party for your child and up to six friends (age 3-10) homemade cakes, games, lots of fun and Upcycling, of course. Let’s quickly find a date!
