«Forest bathing & forest knowledge workshop»
«Forest bathing» takes place in the Uetliberg forest. Our forest bathing trail is between 3-4km long and takes about 4-5 hours. A forest ranger will accompany the workshop.
Forest bathing is suitable as a self-care method on the way to more mindfulness, joie de vivre and increased well-being in your everyday life. Forest bathing is experiencing the forest and nature up close with all your senses.
We stroll slowly and consciously through the forest, stop, smell the wood, herbs or other natural objects, feel something in our hands, marvel like children and fully engage with our surroundings with all our senses.
I invite you to take part in various guided exercises that will sharpen your senses, promote mindfulness and encourage discovery. These exercises will help you to become more aware of the moment, find inner peace and connect more intensively with your natural surroundings.
We connect with our breath and breathe in the healthy, oxygen-rich forest air into our noses and lungs. I conclude the forest bathing session with a short meditation, either leaning against a tree, lying on the forest floor or standing, depending on what you feel like doing.
