We'll help expand your knowledge and will send you our latest podcast, reading and film tips on the topic of climate. These are compiled for you by experts and the wemakeit team. (This should also be exciting for all those who participated last year – we have new tips for you!).

Did you know that transmitting video during online meetings uses a lot of energy and is therefore harmful to the climate?
As a remote team, we often use our cameras. But we’d like to change this: if this reward is purchased, the camera will stay off at our weekly check-ins! The more people join in, the more motivated we are to stick with this change ;-)

Our environment suffers when we leave our trash lying around. That is why we want to launch a cleaning challenge between our team in Zurich and our team in Vienna this year. Who will pick up more rubbish in their city? Who will win the battle?

Our project advisor Alizé is also a poet and she’s happy to come up with something special for you. A great talent at capturing the magic of nature with her words, she’ll pen an individually crafted poem in honor of our earth just for you.

Simply doing nothing sometimes helps the climate the most. We feel doing a somersault is pretty close to doing nothing. For this reason, we’d be happy to do some more for you, even backwards this time! We’ll send you photo proof to boot.

We are still convinced that sometimes what helps the climate most is to simply do nothing – to go nowhere and to consume nothing. After doing a few environmentally friendly somersaults to celebrate trees and the planet, we’d now like show our support and appreciation with a very special tree: The yoga tree pose (Vrikshasana). We’d like to hold this pose whilst also sending you positive thoughts and will send you photo proof as usual.

Art can also be different: wemakeit partner Melina is currently building a climate-neutral, cooperatively organised art gallery in Obwalden (theproposal.art) with her husband, the artist Jérémie Jean-Ferdinand Maret. Visit them in their picturesque Vogelsang house for a fondue lunch and an art tour of a special kind.

As upcycling is better for ecological balance than buying things new, our team coach and secondhand expert Sandro will take you rummaging around his favorite secondhand shops in Zurich. After successfully making some finds, you can treat yourselves to a well-deserved aperitif.

If we’d all heat by just 1° less, we could reduce energy consumption by 6% and thus help protect the climate. How about it? Will you help the effort and turn down the heat by 1°? To make sure you don't get cold whilst helping save the planet, wemakeit’s knitting trainees will send you a scarf. It might not be perfectly knitted, but we can guarantee it’ll be one of a kind and will help keep you warm!

A real climate feast: Let us grab a bowl and whisk and bake you a Demeter carrot cake with regional ingredients. We’ll then personally deliver the cake to your doorstep by bike, making sure we travel in a CO2-friendly manner. And if you like, we can eat a piece together. (This offer is only available in Bern, Zurich and greater Zurich)

E-mails also cause CO2 emissions – around 10 grams per e-mail that is sent. For each support of this kind, we will offset 2,022 of our e-mails via myclimate.

Extraordinary support calls for extraordinary deeds. wemakeit marketing manager Corinne will ride her bike from the wemakeit office in Zurich to the office in Vienna. She’ll cover the almost 800 kilometres and about 6,000 meters altitude with an awful lot of muscle power but hardly any CO2. You’ll receive live updates from different stages of her tour.
