Née en Haute-Savoie, elle grandit à Genève. C’est à 12 ans sur scène avec Pavarotti qu’elle a une révélation: elle deviendra actrice. A 20 ans, elle s’inscrit aux cours Florent à Paris et commence à tourner pour le cinéma et dans plusieurs séries télé à succès. En 1994, elle rencontre Sébastien Devrient qui l’initie à la montagne. Ensemble ils fondent Vertiges Prod. et créent la série de documentaires «Montagnes de Rêve » dont la saison 1 remporte un vif succès. Carole tourne régulièrement dans des fictions françaises et incarne actuellement Ingrid, dans «Les Mystères de l’Amour», diffusée sur TMC.
Elle trouve dans l’alpinisme la sérénité qui équilibre sa vie entre la Suisse et les plateaux parisiens.

«Quand nous préparons les tournages et que Sébastien me propose des ascensions, j’ai toujours d'immenses doutes sur mes capacités physiques. Et quand je lui demande s’il pense que je vais y arriver, il me répond : «Avec une caméra derrière toi? Toujours!»

Born in Haute-Savoie, she grew up in Geneva. At 12 years old on stage with Pavarotti she has a revelation: to become an actress.
At 20, she enrolled in the «Cours Florent» in Paris and began to shoot for the cinema and several successful TV series.
In 1994, she met Sébastien Devrient who introduced her to mountaineering. Together they created Vertiges Prod. and produced the documentary series «Mountains of Dreams» which had a great success.
Carole act regularly in French drama and currently is Ingrid, in «Les Mysteres de l'Amour» aired on TMC.
It is in mountaineering that Carole finds serenity between Switzerland and Paris.

Réalisateur, photographe et guide de haute montagne. Enfant, il rêvait d’être caméraman d’expéditions lointaines. Passionné d’images, il décide de poursuivre son rêve, passe son brevet de guide et fonde Vertiges Prod. pour réaliser ses films. C’est avec le célèbre alpiniste Jean Troillet, dont il réalise les films, que Sébastien va découvrir l'univers des expéditions en Himalaya.

«J’ai une seule obsession: partager ma passion de la montagne. Mon métier de guide me permet d’y emmener ceux qui s’encordent avec moi, et celui de réalisateur de capturer les instants magiques passés en montagne pour les proposer à un autre public, peut-être plus vaste, ou moins initié.
C’est pourquoi il m’a paru évident de raconter l'aventure toujours unique des milliers de personnes qui gravissent ces sommets. Mes films se proposent de saisir, dans les yeux de Carole et de son guide, l’émerveillement croissant devant la magie d’ascensions classiques qui, pour Carole, sont toujours des premières».

Director, photographer and mountain guide. As a child he dreamed of becoming a cameraman for Himlayan expeditions. He decided to pursue his dream, and became a guide, created Vertiges Prod. and produced «Mountains of Dreams».
It's in directing the movies for the famous mountaineer Jean Troillet, that Sebastien discovered the univers of expeditions to the Himalayas.

A single obsession: to share my passion for the mountains. My guiding job allows me to take those roped with me to the summits, and as a director I can capture the magical moments spent in the mountains and offer them to another public, perhaps larger, or less initiated. Therefore it was obvious for me to tell the story of the adventure of thousands of anonymous people who climb these peaks. My films propose to catch the growing wonder in the eyes of Carole and her guide facing the magic of these classic ascensions; always the first for Carole.»
