This is what it's all about.
We encountered the humble and inspiring individual Pedro in Peñas Blancas on the Nicaraguan side of the border with Costa Rica. Currently, Pedro works for a taxi company to which he has to give approximately 75% of his earnings. In order for Pedro to earn money independently from the taxi company in the future and provide a better life for his family, we want to support him.
We got to know Pedro through the project «d Welt inspiriert» (www.kunstnische.ch/dweltinspiriert), during which he told us about his life and his desire to have his own taxi. As modest as he is, he naturally didn’t ask for help from outsiders. Nevertheless, we want to lend him a helping hand. We recently informed him about our plan.

The project aims to support a family living in very poor conditions, providing them with the opportunity to create a better life for themselves through their own efforts.
This is what I need backing for.
We aim to achieve the following amount:
$5,000 for a used taxi $5,000 for the taxi license
Help make his dream come true. A planned trip to Pedro in January 2024 will be privately funded by me.
Planned Approach: Fundraising: Until November 2023
Arrangement for car inspection and taxi license application: Until December 2023
Car purchase and license application: On-site, together with an interpreter and Pedro, in January or June 2024.
