We want to bring people together and promote language and cultural exchange in Switzerland. To achieve this, we are launching the online platform ACTIVITIES - where people with similar interests in culture, sports, music, and travel can find like-minded people to share unforgettable experiences. We are integrating ACTIVITIES into our existing website Sprachtandem.ch, where, for the past 10 years, we have been connecting people with different native languages so that they can teach each other their own native languages during tandem meetings. Almost 25,000 people are already registered on Sprachtandem.ch and are looking for tandem partners 70 different languages. This method is ideal for practicing conversation in foreign languages and is a perfect complement to lessons in language schools.
With ACTIVITIES, we respond to the needs of people who are looking for leisure partners without necessarily wanting to learn a new language. This expansion opens doors to a variety of activities and promotes social encounters in Switzerland.

Our community on Sprachtandem.ch is extremely diverse and consists of people from all over the world who live in Switzerland. So far, two individuals have met to teach each other their native languages in tandem. Our goal is to provide this wonderful community with even more opportunities to easily meet other people and engage in activities together.
Our platform appeals to people who want to do things, get to know new languages, people and cultures, and create memories together.

FINANCING GOAL 1: With an amount of CHF 15,000, ACTIVITIES will be developed as part of Sprachtandem.ch in English and German. Your support allows us to cover the initial development and operational expenses in the first phase, including servers, CMS, domains, and more.
FUNDING GOAL 2: If you believe there is even greater potential in our project, support us in achieving our second financing goal of CHF 20,000. This will help us establish the project on a solid foundation for the long term and give us the opportunity to properly promote the launch of ACTIVITIES to the public, allowing even more people to engage in linguistic and cultural exchange.

We are the team behind Sprachtandem.ch and ACTIVITIES: Deny, Joël, and Julian. Joël operated our platform at his own expense for almost 10 years before the three of us completely renewed and improved everything. We have diverse interests and divide our responsibilities among communication, design, and technical implementation. We run Sprachtandem.ch and ACTIVITIES out of passion, and together, we want to provide our growing community with another opportunity to meet new people and engage in shared activities.
