Album Sunrise
This is what it's all about.
A PROJECT CLOSE TO MY HEART Singing is my language – no matter what, when or where! It fills me with joie de vivre, fire and energy, and I want to share that with everyone listening and inspire you. After every performance, I get asked the same questions: Do you have an album I can buy somewhere? When is this album coming out? Now I can finally answer these questions in the affirmative, because my first solo album, SUNRISE, is coming to life! For me, music is like sunlight: it warms, shines and brings everything to life, which is why I chose this title. With SUNRISE, I want to share exactly that: light, warmth and a dose of musical heart-pounding.
My project is special because ...
MUSIC SELECTION With Handel, Purcell, Schubert, Mozart, Donizetti, Puccini, Vivaldi, Strauss and a charming visit from Whitney Houston and Norah Jones, a varied programme is planned. I wanted to see if my constant classical companions could get along with female vocal icons of our time on stage, and yes, they can, you will hear it.
POWER TEAM Together with the fantastic musicians and personalities of CHAARTS, I have made exactly that audible: a fire of life, a blossoming, a glow. Sunrise is my musical sun fire – curious, boundless and joyful!
This is what I need backing for.
We will be in the studio for four days, working with a total of 13 musicians. We have Johannes, a sound engineer from Deutsche Grammophon in Berlin. We will be filming two arias/songs and doing a photo shoot. Then there will be a physical album with beautiful artwork and a worldwide digital release of the music, and much more. We want to do all of this to the highest standard!
