The OMCT Victim’s Fund provides an in-cash safety net to any human around the world who has suffered torture, as ascertained by local partners of trusted SOS network.
Survivors of torture can submit an application requesting assistance for legal, medical and social needs ans receive the assistance within days of their request, after verification with a local organisation. This assistance is targeted at helping them with their most immediate needs.
Concretely, aid is presented in these different forms:

Legal assistance; Obtain redress and fight impunity, Have a legal observer present at trial, Educate victims on their rights.

Medical assistance; First aid and sugery, Psychological treatment, Medical treatment and medication.

Social assistance; Urgent relocation to a safe heaven, Professional and social rehabilitation of victims, Travel assistance to nearest rehabilitation centre.
