This is what it's all about
We’ve all been there, experiencing that moment of doubt at the kitchen table when a loved one asks, «Do I have all the necessary medications at home?» Where did I put them?» When do my medications expire?» Have I already taken my pill?» For those of us who care for our parents or manage our own health, the «pill puzzle» is a daily source of stress. In Switzerland and Germany, over half of all seniors take at least five medications daily, and many take more than ten. This complexity isn’t just confusing, it’s dangerous. This complexity leads to thousands of avoidable hospital stays every year. We started Bayartis because we saw this exact struggle in our own families. We wanted to stop the «guessing game» and replace it with a system that respects an older adult’s independence while keeping them safe. Bayartis is our answer to these everyday problems. We have created an integrated system to bring order and safety back to the home through two connected parts.
First, the Bayartis App is a digital companion that gives users clear, accessible medication information based on official drug databases in Switzerland, Germany & the USA. You can scan a barcode or take a photo to add medicine instantly. The app simplifies complex information supports connected care by allowing secure sharing with families and doctors, and helps people stay organized with planning and stock taking.
Second, the Bayartis Smart Cabinet is a temperature-monitored, senior-friendly home for medications. It keeps medicines safe from heat and humidity and syncs automatically with the app so everything stored physically is tracked digitally.

At the same time, we recognize that health management is often a family effort. The role of a caregiver is vital and challenging, and Bayartis is designed to foster supportive collaboration between older adults and their families. By providing accurate medicine information from validated Swiss, German and US sources in an intuitive way, we ensure that everyone stays informed without compromising a user’s dignity or independence. We aren’t just building a smart cabinet and it corresponding app; we are challenging outdated ideas to make medication management Simply Certain for those taking the medicine and their loved ones.
