Album production
I have been working as a freelance musician for around 20 years. Music that challenges the usual genres, mixes them up and thus creates something new has fascinated me all my life. My musical work can best be described as «alternative country»: Classic country elements merge with melancholic sounds to create an emotive listening experience that invites you to want to dream with the music in your ears. So far I have produced my albums myself. I record my songs in a specially built and equipped studio in Zurich-Altstetten. Now I would like to further professionalize my previous work and incorporate additional influences. To do this, I need input from a musically experienced person who can understand my musical approach and inspire me to explore new avenues. My plans include the production of a wonderful album with Ken Coomer (producer).
My project is special because ...
My main motivation for the next album is to go one step further and work with inspiring musicians. I want to challenge myself creatively and explore new avenues in my music. Working with talented artists will help me to push my boundaries and develop an even deeper understanding of the music. I’m excited to see what we can create together and look forward to delighting my fans with new and exciting sounds.
I will do everything I can to realize this project as it is a career step for me as well as the product itself. On the one hand, I will release the album in the conventional sense (CDs, vinyl, streaming), but I will also pitch it to publishing companies with Ken’s help. Specifically, I will try to place the individual songs for TV/Netflix/Games uses. This increases the reach of the album immensely and gives me a more independent future as a musician
