Charly Companion: The Legacy of a Guardian Angel
Like in so many families, it happened suddenly!
Charly was our little ball of love who took up a huge space in our lives without us even realising.
We thought he was getting back at us because he peed everywhere except in the litter box.
We thought he was throwing up because of stress when we got upset about the pee.
We thought he was being picky because he refused his food.
Then came the devastating revelation during a vet visit: he had stage 3 chronic kidney disease.
These weren’t just behaviours – they were symptoms. Despite treatment and care, he progressed to stage 4 within a year. Six months later, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering. During our grief, we couldn’t stop wondering what we’d missed and what we could have done better. So we started doing our own research.
The reality: Our story is tragically not unique. According to Nationwide, around 7 out of 10 vet visits involve chronic conditions. 68.5% of pet owners experience significant stress due to the caregiver burden. And during each visit, they have to rely on their memory while under stress. All of this affects quality of life.
The solution: Charly Companion Pet Care, a smart journal app that connects pet owners, vets and pet sitters around the well-being and health of our animals!

Charly isn’t just a simple vault for your pet’s medical data:
It’s a living, connected, and intelligent medical passport that structures observations in just 30 seconds a day. The app never diagnoses – it encourages timely vet visits and streamlines communication with your veterinarian.
It connects the entire ecosystem around your pet’s health through five pillars:
The digital vault: Centralise your pet’s history, consultations, and prescriptions. AI organises and simplifies medical content so everything is finally clear for owners.
The daily log: 30 seconds, an ultra-fast interface, with photos and videos included. The AI analysis («The Sentinel») removes doubt: monitor or consult? It decides for you.
Augmented anamnesis for vets: Share the full file before the appointment. AI generates a cross-referenced summary of the log and medical records, giving the vet a complete overview from the very first seconds of the consultation.
File sharing: Pet sitters can access the file and update the log. In an emergency, they instantly share the full history with an on-call vet who doesn’t know the animal.
The Charly assistant: A caring AI chatbot that relies exclusively on your pet’s real data. The more you log, the better it understands your companion. Includes: step-by-step emergency guides and tailored advice based on your pet’s profile and latest consultations.

The CHF 25,000 will help us take the next step:
• Structure & Infrastructure: Officially establish the Ltd and fund Infomaniak servers (Switzerland) and the Supabase database (Europe) to ensure absolute confidentiality of medical data.
• Development: Finalise beta phase 2 and launch the app on the App Store and Google Play Store.
• Go-To-Market: Activate veterinary partnerships and create communication kits (brochures, displays) for our partner clinics in Switzerland and France.
Beyond the funding The letters of intent we receive daily from veterinarians are already a major asset.
