This album is a mixture of light and darkness that reflects the polarity of life and explores the human psyche, bringing together elements of indie / alternative music with the sophistication and soundscapes found in classical music - be prepared for shoe-gazing riffs and hair-raising crescendos! I have been writing and composing this album for over 2 years now, perfecting every last piece, ready to be released later this year with Wohnzimmer Records. With the help of so many brilliant musicians and artists, I have created something beautiful, but to get it through the final stages of production, I will need your help and support!
My project is special because
I want to use this album to promote acceptance of all types of love and people. It is also a conversation on mental health; struggling with mental health issues, and learning to accept and overcome them. The blend of feminine and masculine energy, of light and of darkness, of classical and alternative will all come together to create a stand-out piece of art that is unique and powerful. It will be a platform for all types of artists from outside of the societal norm to be a part of and take pride in.
I love arranging classical music and have been working with a string quartet, and also a harpist playing modern classical arrangements of my tracks. So each single will have these versions as B-sides. This way I can incorporate my love for alternative music and classical.
This album will be the beginning in making my dreams come true, but it isn’t just for me. So many wonderful musicians have been involved in the making of this and this funding will go towards supporting them too.
Above all, this the concept of this album is to promote self-acceptance and self-expression, and if I can have a positive effect on handful of people, or help them through a hard time, then I consider this a success.

With your help, I will be able to take this album from it’s Demo stage into the fully fledged stand-out piece of artwork it deserves to be! Your funding will also go towards many other musicians that will be a part of the making of this album. The next steps that I need help with are to rent a recording studio so that I can get musicians to record my tracks in high professional quality - and to be able to pay the musicians fairly. After this comes the production and mastering phase - the final stage - this part takes a lot of time and expertise. I will also be commissioning the album artwork and visuals so that my full artistic vision can be realised.
