About us
We are Stay Illusion, a young up-and-coming alternative rock band from Thun, Switzerland founded at the end of 2017. Since then we have played about 30 live shows around the country and have gained experience in stage performance. Some of our personal highlights include the Waldbühne Contest Final at Mühle Hunziken and the Hünegg Openair. We also competed in the multinational Band contest SPH Music Masters where we placed 4th in the final and received prizes for best singer and best bassist, as well as best evaluation from the judges. In October 2019 we released our debut single «Tired of Tears».
Our Project
We will be releasing 2 singles this autumn and our full debut EP is scheduled to be released in January 2021. Our songs are often about personal struggles and past experiences. We cover important subjects such as depression and loneliness, social criticism and hope for a better future. Our music is raw and emotional; it can be ethereal, dreamy and sometimes even a bit dramatic. Our main goal for this EP is to get people talking. Nothing will change if we let things stay the way they are. And maybe by starting a conversation we can help people who find themselves in a similar situation to realise that they’re not alone.
We started writing this EP in the summer of 2019 and it has taken so much time and effort to complete it. This is the final stretch and we now need you to help our EP to reach it’s full potential.

Creating an EP takes a lot of hard work and dedication, as well as a fair amount of money.
A large part of our budget has to be reserved for promotion, as without this the best EP will never be heard. Therefore your support is essential for a successful EP release!
