what it is all about
«Everybody wants more» is about human greed. About how this instinct drives us in positive, as well as negative ways. Arising from the context of a personal exploration of the causes and consequences of the ongoing financial crisis, this project goes to the essence of greed to discover what it ultimately means: where it originates and what it leads to; how it determines our lives and also protects them; how we can defend ourselves from it and how we have to learn to love it.
Four performers will test the limits of to want. Wanting is a primal instinct to satisfy our needs and ensure our survival. It can quickly become an urge that drives us to excess. What are the personal and societal repercussions of an economic system, where wanting more-than-enough is central to GDP growth?
Is wanting a crucial tool in our continuing evolution as a species? Is it potentially destructive?
we need your support because
Video and live projection becomes the the extra dimension in our work. I have worked with video artist Lakshman Anandanaygam for over 10 years. Lakshman will travel to Switzerland to create and operate live the content for the production. His interactive stage design is therefore essential to the concept of our piece.
In order for Lakshman to work effectively we need hardware and software. These are necessary to help him do his job as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Powerful technology is expensive and constantly evolving. These powerful, cutting-edge tools will enable us to get the most out of the limited time we have for rehearsals. As a result, you will be able to see your investment on stage, playing a vital role in «Everybody wants more».

The 2011 piece took a critical view of advertising and how it is used to influence our daily decisions, how advertising tries to connect with us and make us feel something. The purpose of the work was to re-create ourselves as an imaginary established brand and use a mix of dance and advertising mechanisms to appeal to an audience.
splintered (2009)
A video work, directed and produced by Lakshman and Tim. It investigated the reality and duality of the daily grind, our responsibilities and what kind impact that has on our well-being.
