Hello, my name is Jasper, 36 years old and working in the bike industry for 15 years as well as privately touring a lot by bike.

The idea for Exolast came from my own search for an ideal bag for my outdoor adventures and everyday life. I couldn’t find a bag on the market that fit all my needs - a bag that could be used as a bike handlebar bag as well as a practical belly/shoulder bag.

For this reason, a good friend and I decided to take action ourselves and started sewing our own bags using a 20 franc sewing machine from Ricardo. We designed countless prototypes, tested different materials and refined the design more and more until we finally achieved the result we were looking for.

Once the design of the bag was finalized, we began working together to find a manufacturer who could produce the bag we developed to our specifications. After thorough research, conversations and many samples, we finally found an experienced manufacturer who had the capabilities to produce our bags to exact specifications.
