With my project «We bring the farm shops to your city!» We would like to bring regional farm shops and producers directly to you.

A childhood friend from my school days, Markus (50 years), took over his parents’ farm a few years ago. He recently mentioned that his farm shop doesn’t have enough customers due to its remote location.

As a solution, the idea arose to bring the farm shops directly from the farmers to the customers in the city. Our concept is based on an innovative vending machine kiosk with intelligent refrigerators and various vending machines. This means we can primarily offer unpackaged food.

In our first store with 100m2 of retail space in Rorschach (Switzerland) we can offer over 600 products. We collect the goods from regional farmers and producers every day. This means we can always offer fresh and seasonal products and are sure to have something to suit every taste.

In this way, we can also significantly boost sales of products from farmers and producers!

This project has five primary objectives:

First 1: Support regional farmers and producers: Our goal is to help farmers and producers in the region to successfully market their products. We offer a wide range of products such as organic products, dairy products, vegetables, fruits, drinks as well as vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free foods.

Second 2: Avoiding unnecessary waste through unpackaged food: We rely primarily on unpackaged food and use intelligent refrigerators for this. Every product in our range is equipped with an integrated scale. This means that the refrigerator registers which product is removed and in what quantity. This innovative solution allows us to offer individual quantities such as individual apples, cucumbers or tomatoes. In this way, we not only support regional farmers and producers, but also contribute to protecting the environment by minimizing waste.

Third 3: Selling urgently needed items such as emergency medicines: Our machines are equipped with age recognition through credit card or identity card, which allows us to also offer urgently needed items such as emergency medicines.

Fourth 4: 24-hour shopping options: We offer our customers the flexibility to shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Fifth 5: Every month we support the Marktplatz food bank in Rorschach (Switzerland) with a donation of food and non-food items with a total value of 3,000 francs. This particularly benefits people and families in the surrounding area, including social recipients and pensioners who have to get by on a limited budget. These donations are distributed regularly every Wednesday afternoon. This way we can support people in need and at the same time prevent food waste. If the entire funding goal is reached, we will also support local aid organizations in Switzerland such as in St. Gallen, Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva! With these five points we hope to meet many current needs. Our goal is to ensure that we can offer the right product for everyone.

Financing goals:

Stage 1: If we reach the goal of 39,000 francs, we intend to open the first store in Rorschach (Switzerland) in August 2024. Of course, unexpected problems can lead to delays. After the successful opening, we are committed to donating food to local aid organizations.

Stage 2: If we reach the goal of 78,000 francs, we plan to open the store in St.Gallen (Switzerland) in October 2024. Here too, a delay is possible if unforeseen problems arise. After the successful opening, we are committed to donating food to local aid organizations.

Stage 3: To achieve the goal of 117,000 francs, we are aiming to open the store in Zurich (Switzerland) in December 2024. Any difficulties could lead to delays. After the successful opening, we are committed to donating food to local aid organizations.

Stage 4: Reaching the goal of 156,000 francs would enable the opening of the store in Lausanne (Switzerland) in February 2025. Here too, a delay is possible if problems arise. After the successful opening, we are committed to donating food to local aid organizations.

Stage 5: With a goal of 195,000 francs, we plan to open the store in Geneva (Switzerland) in April 2025. As mentioned before, there could be delays if unexpected problems arise. After the successful opening, we are committed to donating food to local aid organizations.
