What is it all about?
In this 6th edition of the festival that starts on the 22ths of August 2024 we invite you to embark on a journey into Argentine folklore with:
• Exceptional dancers: Teresa Furno & Andrea Cioni (Association Passion Folklorica, Italy), Freselin Carvajal & Luis Aguirre (Associazione Tronar de Bombos, Mallorca, Spain), Lili & Martin (Association Ruisal.ART, Swizerland)
• Songwriter, guitarist and interpreter carrying on the musical tradition from Frías, Argentina
• Songwriter, guitarist, interpreter representing Santiago-del-Estero province traditions in Barcelona, Spain
• Dance teacher and UNA choreographer Mariano Garces Grizy, founder of ArgenFolk, Spain
We await you in Kiental in Swiss Alps with the following activities: introduction class to Argentinian couple and group dances, meals, peña and guitarreada, live music and dance performances, paseos en la montaña.
We wish to keep the event affordable for participants of any income or traveling from regions with less favorable economical situation than Switzerland. We believe that it will encourage visits of dancers & musicians from abroad and offer an opportunity for the international Argentinian folklore community in Europe to come together.
This year AgoFiesta • moves to a new amazing location, in the proximity of the UNESCO heritage site in Griesalp, • expands from a single day to a whole week-end, • offers housing and meals for 45 participants, • invites exceptional artists to share their talent with us during the whole event.

The festival offers an array of original workshops for attendees, ranging from group sessions to personalized classes in music, dance, body expression, and yoga.
For our younger attendees, we’ve curated a space filled with engaging and educational games.
