Le Festival du Film et Forum International sur les Droits Humains (FIFDH) a vu le jour en 2003, suite à la rencontre de gens de cinéma, de défenseurs des droits humains actifs au sein d’ONG, de l’Université de Genève et de représentants des médias.
Face au Conseil des droits de l’Homme de l’ONU, il constitue une tribune libre pour tous les acteurs impliqués dans la défense des valeurs humaines.
