Footpath school Karachi-Pak

Dear Friends,

It has been a year with the Footpath school project and I thank each and every one of you who have participate and contributed to this crowdfunding and making it a successful initiative. This school is doing very well and number of children are increasing everyday.. I am glad that you were part of this in making a better future for children.

SHARING A GREAT NEWS ! I have initiated a NEW project by MAZIN MONTESSORI ACADEMY to introduce Montessori Education in a very remote village in Karachi near National highway.

We are looking for Montessori Teachers and working with my team to who can train locally the women or moms to build a community and help more children having access to education.

I will keep you posted on this and please keep us in your thoughts.

Dear Friends and supporters and children,

FROM SHENANNZ FOUNDATION, SHENILA and I are very exited to share with you all «OUR SUCCESS»!! We have finally delivered the school uniforms to children of FOOTPAH SCHOOL –KARACHI MY sister is delivering 200 uniforms along with shoes, socks and winter cardigan to these children. As you can see they are making creative cards to send to you and to thank you ! they are very happy to be wearing them as their own.

I am very glad to update you that we will be soon providing 200 uniforms instead of 100 to these children. I will share the photos while giving these uniforms to children individually.

The stitching is in process and my sister is looking after herself the design and stitching process with the president of the OWO Organisation.

Kindly share your home address by sending me a private email (anilahussain19@gmail.com) so I can send you the cards signed by them.

Please note that the address will be kept confidential and will be only used to send a card.

We are in process of ordering uniforms for more than 100 children. It is happening because of your kind and generous support! THANK YOU !!!

A successful funding campaign after baking cookies with children of my MONTESSORI class last Thursday 22nd. ( just two days prior to dead line)

We have collected chf 850.40.- isn’t that amazing!!!

My heart is beating faster and faster each day when children come to me in my school giving me little envelopes from their savings to support the footpath school in Pakistan.

Some wants to send their own clothes, bags, shoes, stationeries etc etc. This is the message I wanted bring to their hearts. SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE THE MOST !! NOT WHAT YOU DON’T LIKE!!

The development of a global society calls for the cultivation of capacities far beyond anything the human race has so far been able to muster. The challenges ahead will require an enormous expansion in access to knowledge on the part of individuals and organizations alike. Universal education will be an indispensable contributor to this process of capacity building, but the effort will succeed only to the extent that both individuals and groups in every sector of society are able to acquire knowledge and to apply it to the shaping of human affairs.

Education must be lifelong. It should help people to develop the knowledge, values, attitudes and skills necessary to earn a livelihood and to contribute confidently and constructively to shaping communities that reflect principles of justice, equity and unity. It should also help the individual develop a sense of place and community, grounded in the local, but embracing the whole world. Successful education will cultivate virtue as the foundation for personal and collective well-being, and will nurture in individuals a deep sense of service and an active commitment to the welfare of their families, their communities, their countries, indeed, all mankind. It will encourage self-reflection and thinking in terms of historical process, and it will promote inspirational learning through such means as music, the arts, poetry, meditation and interaction with the natural environment.

Thank you dear friends, family and my dear students who have helped me achieved my target of CHF 2’380 to support 100 children’s uniforms from footpath school.

Your pledges will support 100 children who would go to school wearing a proper dress(uniform).

WE COULD NOT HAVE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!!

We still have 13 more days and we can support more than 100 students if you continue to spread the word until 24th of December!

Seeds of Knowledge Montessori school in VICH, Switzerland will help to support 20 more students by baking cookies and selling them to generate some more funds on 22nd of December.:)
