Parkour is...
a sport which is about transforming urban or natural elements into obstacles to break through in the most efficient and fluide manner.
Presentation of the project
From A2U is a documentary project based on Parkour. Throughout this movie we want to make you discover our passion and each benefactions of this incredible discipline. We’re going to show you the community of the Parkour practitioners around the world and their respective visions, and also the way it has developped itself in urban centers and sometimes even in natural environments. We would like to give you the opportunity to live this adventure, to make you dream of it and to share with you our world view. Yoann Roig, film maker and Parkour athlete for 10 years got the brilliant idea to set this feature film up. Kevin and Dylan Crupi, both Parkour proponents and stuntmen decided to join him to help in the production of this movie.
Dates and itinerary of the project
This worldtour will start in Geneva the 1st of November 2016 and will end the 23rd of February 2017 after a 4 months long trip, according to the following itinerary :

Once we’re back we will work hard to release the documentary (approximative duration: 1h30) in Summer 2017. A trailer will be available a month before the publication of the movie.
A broadcasting evening will take place for the official release and the documentary will be available in DVD and also in online pay-per-download (production costs of the product).

Why a Crowdfunding?
We decided to make a crowdfunding because our goal is to share this experience with you, just as the elementary idea of «From A2U», from us to you. By supporting us, you contribute to the creation of the documentary and you take part in this project.
What’s the purpose?
Besides our financial sponsors, our personal contribution and the sale of the documentary, the crowdfunding constitutes the budget of the project. This budget will be used for:
- Improve the audiovisual stuff (image + sound).
- Cover the costs of the trip (plane tickets, food, transports, etc…)
- Increase editing tools (softwares, copyrights, plugins, etc…)
- Cover the editing hours
- Broadcast the documentary (DVDs creation, rental of the movie theater, promote the movie, etc…)
Europe tour, a preparation for the big trip
This summer we made a Europe tour to get ready for the world tour. We went on an adventure for a month, without any idea of our accommodations. Everyday we discovered unknown places, met new folks and lived unforgettable experiences. Moreover, during the entire trip we filmed our adventures; beautiful landscapes, astounding Parkour moves and of course several hard situations… A shorter documentary than the one expected for the world tour (~ 30 minutes) is currently in process of editing and will be available within October. However you can as of now watch the trailer to see what it’s all about and get an idea of what we’re about to do.
