UNIQUE 🧖🏽‍♀️

Thanks to its inner pegs that act like pilings, your soap will never come into contact with water. And thanks to its inclined design, any water that enters will drain away quickly. Your soap will thus dry in no time. No more softening soap or soap sticking together. No more soap slipping off the soap holder.

SIMPLE AND UNIVERSAL 🫧

illo is attached using a strong double-sided adhesive suitable for the bathroom. Plus, it accommodates most solid soap formats on the market. Central pegs have even been designed to hold the last bit of soap at the end.

MODULAR 💦

From the beginning, illo was designed to expand at will to accommodate as many soaps as you wish. You can start with just one and then add one or more modules.

AESTHETIC 💭

We have developed three timeless colors so that our soap holder can elegantly and harmoniously fit into the design of all bathrooms: slate blue, celadon green, linen white.

The commitments that matter to us ♻️

We wanted to make eco-design the cornerstone of our approach. The goal? Address real everyday issues while preserving our planet’s resources. Our soap holder is manufactured in Switzerland from a French material specially developed for this project. No new resources are mobilized to revalorize waste. The presence of water made it impossible to use a biodegradable material. So our components come from the circular economy: recycled polypropylene, oyster shells and abalone shells.

And eco-design doesn’t stop at the product. It extends to the packaging and the website. We do everything we can to adhere to it!

The Story of Our Project 🌿

A DESIGN

With the help of designers Anne Lecuyer and Sebastien Actis Datta from La Forge Créative (Yverdon), and my fine team of co-creators, I developed illo to put an end to the waste of solid soaps in the bathroom. It took us almost three years to bring to life an eco-designed soap dish that makes life easier for solid soap lovers. We wanted to come up with a solution that was functional, scalable and aesthetically pleasing.

A CAMPAIGN AT YOUR SIDE

We’re starting this crowdfunding campaign with one ambition in mind: to enable us to launch the first production run of our soap dishes. This is a key stage in the development of our brand, and involves financing the injection moulds needed for production. We already have lots of ideas for the future, with one goal in mind: to make your life easier and reduce waste.
