Europe Tour - Summer 2024
On June 7, 2024, I will release the new album of my Japanese-inspired jazz formation Kaiju Project. This will be followed by a European tour with concerts in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and England. 12 concerts are planned between June and July of this year. We are an international group that has found its own musical direction: a perfect mix of meditative traditional Japanese music and modern creative jazz.
Connecting the East and the West
It has always been a vision of mine to connect the eastern and western worlds musically. And I seem to have succeeded in doing that with my new album. A «dream team» of international musicians and artists is behind the production of the Kaiju Project album. Also worth mentioning is the fantastic Japanese painter Yo Iwahori, who painted the artwork, and the label Challenge Records, who are helping me bring the music out into the world.
We need your support!
The album production was highly professional but had high unexpected costs, which are somewhat difficult to bear on your own. Furthermore, the flutist Kana Fuefuki has to fly over from Japan for the tour and we have to cover our travel costs ourselves. Since we want to realize this tour and present the album to you, we depend on your support. We would be happy about any small contribution and hope that we can meet at one of our concerts.
