I have the great honour of recording my first CD on one of the most beautiful harpsichords in the world: the 1624 Ruckers harpsichord in Colmar. As this instrument has never undergone a «grand ravalement», this french harpsichord, in terms of sound and mechanics, is much closer to the sound of the 17th century than other Ruckers harpsichords, which have undergone more changes.
