Funding our upcoming album
If we’ve created this wemakeit campaign, it is to ask for your help funding our upcoming album, due in spring/ summer of 2023.
This album is a turning point for our duo, Marzella. We decided to explore our individualities and see how two very different women, can be whole and coexist in a single project.
We’re very happy to have been able to share several songs from this album with you, like Never Again, which invaded Swiss radios this year as well as Suspension, our November single !
The album will contain 10 songs, in French, English and Italian that we created during these pas two years. It blends rock, folk, electronic, and pop music with sparse guitar arrangements, majestic strings and our voices which are sometimes powerful, sometimes intimate with nostalgia, freshness, madness and delicacy.
A lot of Marzia, a lot of Ella, a lot of Marzella. No Compromise.
The potential of this album
We believe our project has a potential to grow across Switzerland and its borders, like for example in France and in Slovenia where we’re happy to have had lovely successes.
With the songs from our last EP, we were placed in Spotify’s Viral 50 France playlist and in its playlist «Oracle», New Music Friday Schweitz, as well as being broadcast across France’s «Radio Vinci Autoroutes» playlist and hitting number 1 on iTunes in Slovenia. With the Never Again, we’re extremely happy to have been broadcast in major Swiss radios such as La 1ère, Radio Swiss Pop, SFR Virus, Rouge FM, lfm, Radio Lac, Option Musique.
We’re passionate, determined and we were able to acheive all of these beautiful things ourselves and your help would be an immense help to bring os even further.
What your help will cover :
20’000 francs would be a huge help that would help us cover :
- studio fees
- mixing
- mastering
- a large amount of promotion costs
- a large amount of visual costs
- digital distribution
- vinyl and CD pressing
It must be noted that we are not financed by a label and are not compensated financially for the hours spent on this project. If we manage to hit over 20’000 Swiss Francs, the money will help us cover the rest of the expenses and create an international promotion.
