PAAR Socks has established itself as a sustainable Swiss sock brand since 2019. With unique unisex socks for adults and the popular Mismatch collection, designed by people with Down syndrome, we have captured the hearts of the Swiss population.

Now, we aim to better meet the needs of our customers by introducing children’s socks for the first time.

The demand for colorful children’s socks is immense – a fact we know from both our loyal customers and enthusiastic visitors to our booths at Christmas markets. And the trend for matching socks for kids and adults is undeniable. Therefore, we plan to offer the children’s collection in an adult version as well, to meet the desires of our customers.

We want to launch the children’s collection in October 2024 - just in time for the start of sock season. 🧦

The collection: animal motifs to mix and match

This children’s collection was created as part of our drawing competition for children «None too small to be a designer». We selected five winners from over 160 sock drawings and combined their creations into a unique collection. 🧑🏽‍🎨🎨

🧦🦒🦊🦉🌲 The collection is inspired by animal motifs and consists of a set of four different, individual socks that can be combined however you please.

✅🧦 The mix & match concept with several socks was a wish of many parents, as children often lose their socks and folding them together is now a thing of the past.

💙🩷 The collection will be available in two colours and six children’s sizes to perfectly match the preferences and fit of little sock lovers.

🎁👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👦🧑🏾‍🧑🏻‍🧒🏼🧦 The children’s collection and the Family Package will not only bring joy to your own family, but are also a unique gift for new parents, for Mother’s or Father’s Day, for grandparents, aunts and uncles, or as a Christmas or birthday present.

To implement this creative project and further strengthen our brand, we need your support.

Pre-financing production is costly, with rising prices, increased minimum production quantities, and the variety of children’s sock sizes requiring significant financial resources.

With contributions from our crowdfunding, we cover production costs for minimum order quantity and part of the marketing expenses. We need a minimum of 20,000 CHF to successfully realize this project.

Specifically, the funds will be used as follows:

1️⃣ Production of children’s socks: Manufacturing two color variants in six different sizes.

2️⃣ Production of the Family Package: Manufacturing adult socks in pink and blue color variants in two different sizes, along with a matching gift packaging.

3️⃣ Marketing: Photoshoot and campaign for the market launch.
