I just received a first video message from Naichelle Ann, the teenage girl who we are supporting with our fundraising efforts via the Swiss NGO Aiducation. She’s very grateful for the support, as you can see in the video. Thanks to all of you for making it happen.
I am excited to see how her journey unfolds in the four years ahead!

Schon zwei Monate ist es her, seit dem ich den New York Marathon gelaufen bin. Was für ein Lauf, was für eine Atmosphäre, was für ein unglaublich schöner, erfüllender Tag! Es herrschte Freude in den Strassen New Yorks: über 55’000 sind mit mir gelaufen und hunderttausende waren an den Strassenrändern und haben mitgefiebert, angefeuert und motiviert. Am meisten bewegt hat mich aber diese Kampagne: Danke von Herzen, dass ihr mich bei jedem Schritt unterstützt habt - gemeinsam haben wir einen Unterschied gemacht!
Dank euch 23 Unterstützer/innen konnten wir Naichelle Ann, ein Mädchen aus Quezon City in den Philippinen ein vierjähriges Stipendium ermöglichen. Ihr Berufstraum ist es, eines Tages Software Entwicklerin zu werden. Hierfür habe ich Aiducation CHF 3200 zugesprochen. Den Restbetrag habe ich an das Non-Profit America Needs You in New York überwiesen, um auch einen lokalen Impact zu haben. Sie ermöglichen «low-income, first-generation» Universitätsabgängern Mentoring und helfen ihnen so beim Start ins Berufsleben.

Dear Supporters,
It’s already been two months since I completed the New York Marathon. What a run, what an atmosphere, what an incredibly beautiful and fulfilling day! Good vibes filled the streets of New York on November 3, 2024: over 55,000 people ran alongside me, and hundreds of thousands lined the streets, cheering us on, motivating us, and sharing in the excitement. However, what moved me most was this campaign: thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me every step of the way – together, we made a difference!
Thanks to you, 23 supporters, we were able to provide Naichelle Ann, a girl from Quezon City in the Philippines, with a four-year scholarship. Her dream career is to become a software developer one day. For her scholarship, I allocated CHF 3,200 to Aiducation. The remaining amount I donated to the non-profit organization America Needs You in New York, to also make a local impact. They provide mentoring to low-income first-generation graduates, helping them kickstart their careers.
