Parish Renovation Project

Parish Room Renovation: St. Vincent Ferrer Parish-Hinlayagan Ilaya

I am helping to raise fund to renovate St. Vincent Ferrer Parish-Hinlayagan Ilaya since I know the priest in Trinidad, Bohol. We are supporting this Parish church in the previous years. We also donated church bell to the church being renovated by Father Tereso Lumacang, the parish priest. In 2022 we have visited their Parish still unfinish, including the church building, offices, a Sacristy, a Convent, and a Parish Hall for the benefit of the priest and the community as well.

We are helping Father Tereso to raise funds to cover the expenses for the renovation of the Parish church for the benefit of the community. I cannot make it alone I need your financial help to continue this project. Since that we have been visited and see the place it worthwhile to assists them to continue their project. To have the place where to keep their documents and to keep the eucharist and to have place for adoration.

St. Vincent Ferrer Parish-Hinlayagan Ilaya launched its 4-in-1 PROJECT this year, aiming to develop a two-storey building comprising our new Offices, a Sacristy, a Convent, and a Parish Hall. On our 12th year as a parochial community, this 4-in-1 PROJECT is a significant milestone which prompts us to operate in a more organized and well-structured manner. Achieving this vision entails a generous amount of support. Thus, we humbly ask for your financial, moral and spiritual support to make this project a reality. Your donation, no matter the size, will surely create a positive impact to the whole SVFP community.

I. Parish Offices Currently, we lack conducive, safety and proper offices for our priest and parish staff. We need an appropriate office space for them for a better coordination of parish activities, safekeeping of church records and documents, and ensuring a confidential setting for counseling and spiritual guidance.

II. Sacristy A well-designed and well-structured sacristy will significantly improve the flow and reverence of our liturgical celebrations in contrast to what we currently have at present.

III. Convent The convent houses our parish priest and his comrades, visiting clergy and the bishop. Providing them with a more comfortable and secure home allows them to continue their invaluable spiritual and pastoral services. Hence, we seek to have a well-developed convent that has private rooms for our priest and his companions, as well as adequate rooms for guests, the bishop and the clergy in case of their visit in the parish.

IV. Parish Hall The parish hall seeks to be an important multifunctional space for community gatherings, organizational meetings, religious education, social events, seminars, etc. It will be designed to accommodate large groups and make it suitable for wide range of church-related activities/gatherings.
