🌳 Bringing Communities Together Through Green Spaces: Help Beautify the Caglavica Public Park

Naturefriends Kosovo and ILG School are launching a heartfelt initiative to transform and care for a public park in Caglavica, Kosovo—a neighborhood where different communities peacefully live together. This green space has enormous potential to become a symbol of unity, play, and sustainability, but it needs your help to reach its full potential.

Today, the park is in a poor state. There are no trees or shrubs to provide shade in the hot Kosovar summer. The benches, garbage cans and play equipment are damaged. The safety of the children is not guaranteed. The park is overgrown and is hardly used anymore. Together with pupils from the ILG School in Veternik/Pristina, we want to work to change this!

With your support, we want to:

Plant trees, flowers, and shrubs to increase biodiversity and provide more shade during hot days.
Repair benches and waste bins to make it welcoming for families and residents of all ages
Water the plants and maintain the beauty of the park for the future
If we can raise enough money, we also want to repair the playground and sports equipment for more safety & fun
