Popcorn-Opera: Tour 2025

New in Bern, Biel, Luzern & St. Moritz

After the sold-out premiere at the Theater Casino Zug in 2023 and other successful performances, we now want to spread the magic of the Popcorn-Universe nationally and make even more hearts explode.

For the 2025 tour, the Popcorn-Opera will be performed 8 times from February 1st to March 14th, 2025. This project entails high costs, not all of which can be covered through the usual channels. That’s why we need your help and have created explosive rewards for you: BÄMEDIBÄM!

An enchanting experience for all senses

The story of the Popcorn-Opera is told by six musicians. They present the fantastic universe on stage with an incredible variety of sounds: melancholic piano ballads meet atonal arias, wind quartets meet siren blues or a cappella singing meets sousaphone solos. The colorful and creative video projections by Kevin Graber make the journey through the Popcorn-Universe a captivating experience for all your senses.

This is what it it's all about ...

In this musical stage show, we immerse ourselves in the story of the creation and discovery of the fantastic Popcorn-Universe. The popcorauts travel the planets of this universe upon their rocket, Xalvadora, and encounter fantastic creatures and extraordinary phenomena.

During their journey, they discover elements of happiness such as craziness, creativity, sensuality, and wisdom. Determined to bring them back to Earth, they must navigate around the volatile purple holes that are spreading through the universe. Will the courageous travelers and their discoveries be swallowed up? Or will they be able to return safely?
