Hey! We’re Tarun (15, Switzerland) and Anna (18, Germany), internet besties turned journalists who turned a shared love for music into Reflection Magazine!
In 2021, after reading about RAYE’s departure from Polydor due to creative restrictions, we started questioning how often artists lose control over their own narratives. That question became the foundation of Reflection: a platform built to let emerging artists speak for themselves.
After connecting through online music communities, we began interviewing artists we genuinely loved — and in September, Reflection Magazine officially launched. Six issues later, we’ve featured Swiss artists like Calea, Eileen Alister and Joya Marleen alongside international acts such as Maude Latour, Xana and King Mala, while also covering major cultural events and collaborating with industry partners.
Now, we want to take Reflection beyond the page and into real life. Our goal is to create an inclusive showcase event in Horgen, Zürich, bringing together six past and future Reflection artists, creatives, and music fans in one shared space.
There are very few accessible cultural spaces in Switzerland designed specifically for young people. This event aims to change that — by offering a welcoming environment focused on live music, creative exchange, and community. Every artist is given equal space, every voice is taken seriously.
We see music as connection and expression. Through live performances, workshops, and open creative exchanges, this event will be a place to discover new talent, meet like-minded people, and experience Reflection in real life.

Our project is special because it is youth-led and built from the ground up by the community it serves. It gives emerging artists real space, equal visibility, and creative freedom — both on the page and on stage.
This is what we need backing for.
To make our vision come to life, we need 2,000 Swiss francs. The money will go directly into the experience for you and this consists of fee mitigation, artist equipment, lighting and sound, decoration, food and drink and more back-end related funds.
