Since the creation of the first watch in 1508, watchmakers have followed an age-old tradition: turning the hands around the watch. But after 516 years, I decided to revolutionise this process: to ’make the watch turn around the hand’.
Imagine: the hand motionless and the dial in motion, dancing with time.
Reading the time remains as easy as ever.

What's special about my project
I discovered my passion for design and watches during my architecture studies. After graduating, I went on to study design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.
On my return to Switzerland, I opened my own studio as a freelance architect. However, my spare time is devoted to design, particularly in the field of watches.
Watches have always fascinated me. So I decided to create my own avant-garde timepiece.
Looking at traditional watches, I noticed that it is always the hands that turne around the dial. Based on this observation, I decided to ’make the watch turn around the hands’.
The idea of reversing the process was born: the dial turns and the hand remains fixed.

How your support will be used
Before presenting the 02 model, I designed a first example, the 01 model, in order to gather the public’s impressions.
The very positive feedback, both from the public and from specialist magazines (the articles are available on my website), encouraged me to continue with the 02 model.
I decided to invest in the production of this new model. I entrusted the technical development of the watch to T-Technology in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The project is well advanced. A first batch of watches is in production, and the tools and machines have been acquired. The funds for the first tranche of the budget have been raised for the study, development and manufacture of the tools. The main components of the timepiece you see here have already been manufactured. All that remains is to complete and assemble them.
Why turn to the Wemakeit community?
For the second part of the project, Wemakeit is the place to go. To finance the manufacture of the last missing components and thus enable everyone to enjoy this avant-garde watch at exceptional prices.
The success of this sales campaign will be an important step towards the production of the 03 model, which I hope to be able to present to you soon.
