This is what it's all about.
Out of love for electronic music and boredom during the corona pandemic, we (Sven, Elia, Andrin and Fabio) founded the Schwing und Stampf association in 2022. Our big goal from the start was to set up our own festival. The Schwing und Stampf Festival will take place from July 28th to 30th, 2023 in Wolfenschiessen in the canton of Nidwalden, which is about 20 minutes by car from Lucerne. As a festival location in the mountains, this is perfect for setting itself apart from other smaller festivals. Our aim is to set up a program that is as diverse as possible. Spread over two stages, visitors should be able to dance to a wide variety of music. The music program is also intended to encourage people to discover new music that visitors may not have heard of before. The festival is intended to be small, informal and not-for-profit. The rather hidden location and limited number of tickets help to give the event an authentic underground feeling.
With the festival we want to celebrate a big party that swims under the radar, where everyone is welcome, no matter what their sexuality or origin. In this way, we want to give something back to our homeland and thus also to the entire Lucerne cultural scene, in which we mostly took part as visitors. Through the cooperation with five established music labels from Lucerne (Hellwach, Spiegelbild, Kulturkunden, HakkenDicht, Klangfreunde), we will above all give many local artists the chance to play at the festival. We also want to support the local scene.

We are a team of young, motivated and creative people and want to attract attention with a colorful mix of electronic music, an eye on sophisticated decoration and a pleasant, loving atmosphere and the connection to nature, in order to give the local scene a fresh breeze. We are all about creating an unforgettable experience for our visitors and maintaining value for money. The club is not out for profit, our goal is not to make a loss! The festival is accordingly a net zero project. The profit is distributed in the form of fees, reimbursement of food and transport costs, a helper party and/or dedicated to the association for future events.

In order to make the festival possible in this way, we depend on a wide range of support. We work with regional businesses, companies and volunteers, as well as existing music labels, to pool our resources and use them as efficiently as possible. We will be able to cover many of our costs through the ticket and consumption income during the festival, as well as through cooperation with third parties. But in order to be able to cover all costs, including those that arise in advance, we depend on your support. Most of the money raised from donations is invested in building materials, lighting and decorative materials. In order not to have to resort to overpriced drinks and other hidden costs for visitors, we need your support!
