This is what it's all about.
I am Solà, a singer-songwriter based in Zurich. I write, compose, and perform my own songs. Five demo versions have already been created and form the basis for a professional studio production.
🎶 My songs are the soundtrack to a self-determined life. Pop–jazz–soul full of poetry, sometimes fierce, sometimes gently humorous. In early 2026, I’ll head to the Powerplay Studios – with your support, I can bring my album to life.
🎤 I’ve been singing my whole life – but it wasn’t until 2022 that I wrote my first original song… and won an award for it right away! I stepped out of the narrow confines of classical and church music and found my own sound. Professionally, I left the academic world (post-doc in theology) and founded my own company, SchreibStimme. My love of language and writing has now found its home in songwriting.
💫 The dream of becoming a musician has been with me for a long time. With this album, I’m taking a big step toward making it real. Wherever I perform my songs, people come to me with tears and a smile. They remember something that had been buried. And they find the courage to reinvent themselves, to live creatively and on their own terms.

Lyrics, melody, chords, arrangements, vocals, producing – I keep every thread in my own hands. These songs are entirely my work from start to finish, and I’m proud of everything I’ve learned over the past three years.
All the more, I’m thrilled to record the album with fantastic musicians at the legendary Powerplay Studio in Maur, Switzerland. Joining me are Martin Eigenmann (piano, synth), Dimitri Monstein (drums), Pirmin Huber (bass), trumpet, and Martin Scheidegger (bass clarinet).
They will all shape the final result, and I’m incredibly excited about the creative process.
Here’s a snippet from my self-produced demo song «Dishwasher»: A humorous metaphor for life: wouldn’t it be wonderful if someone cleaned up our lives the way the dishwasher cleans our plates?
