The concept? Every time you visit a canton, scratch off the grey surface to reveal the colour as you explore.
The map becomes your travel journal and takes you on a true tour of Switzerland.
What makes this project special
Scratch maps exist for the whole world: Japan, the US, France… But not Switzerland. That’s just not on!
We live in a tiny country that packs four languages, dozens of cultures and a breathtaking gastronomic diversity into a minuscule territory. And yet — many of us have never set foot in Glarus, never bitten into a cuchaule, or never watched a sunset in Ascona…
The map was born from this paradox and challenges you to visit all 26 cantons, explore their iconic landmarks and specialities — and hang it on the wall to track your progress and stay on course!
True to Swiss standards, we didn’t cut corners on quality:
