This is what it's all about.

The feature film «THE PROMISE» is a film that includes about 90 locations in Ticino and 2 in Italy. It is an ambitious and unique project. Making a film of the genre Fantasy using at best what our territory offers. The plot of the film was made after a year of research and study, in order to present a new and never seen version of a timeless myth, that of King Arthur.

My project is special because ...

In Ticino, it is often thought that such a project is «impossible», a folly. The beauty of our territory combined with a valid and captivating narrative structure, make this project unique in its kind. The desire to face a myth that is often represented as that of King Arthur, is another challenge: the film will not be a simple rereading of what everyone knows, but a real new chapter entirely written by our creative team. Behind this ambitious project is the group «Goodfellas Motion Pictures», active in the territory since 2012.

This is what I need backing for.

A film like this usually involves six-digit numbers. Our goal is to create a long independent movie with much less money, making the most of what we find on the territory. To do this, however, we need an economic effort on our part, but in order to complete the film in peace, we need further support! With your support you can invest more money in post production, promotion and distribution at the international level. Supporting this film is not just about supporting local independent cinema, but also having the opportunity to have a genre cinema, too often ignored in our latitudes.
