Project description
After reaching second place in the swiss ESC 2015 and being the public’s favorite on national channel SRF1 at the Entscheidungsshow, Timebelle would like to release their first album. Its public release is expected by end of may/beginning of june. Also they plan on going on a little swiss-Tour, of which 12 concerts will be programmed from Neuchâtel to Chur.
Timebelle would like to remain as free as possible in their work. That is why the Band has not commited to a label yet and tries its luck on its own. At these early stages it can rely on the kind support of Desperado AG, who covers a third of all the production costs. Now that their personal fortune has dried out, the members are looking for other financial support to cover the production costs in europeean recording studios.
Production
Back to the roots! – The production of the album differs from most productions, which are published nowadays because we would like to play it LIVE. For this we need to book specialized Rock Studios, where the whole band could be recorded synchronously.
Band
The special blend of vocals, accordion, clarinet/saxophone, drumset, guitar and bass embodies a rockin’, high-power groove, with haunting melodies and stomping beats. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes rejoicing, their music always invites to dance and celebrate.
The name TIMEBELLE is a hommage to the Zytglogge in Bern, the landmark Clock Tower of the very town, where the musicians met during their studies at the Bern University of the Arts. Today, beside polishing their own sound as a band, they are freelancers, engaged in different orchestras, as well as soloists in chamber music and solo projects. Connected through music, every band member enriches TIMEBELLE with their colorful background and abilities.
