BREZZA on tour
We are Brezza, an instrumental ensemble specializing in 18th century baroque music, consisting of a traverso, a viola da gamba and a harpsichord, based in Basel, Switzerland.
After the difficult COVID-situation, we are eager and excited to be able to start our debut-tour in Switzerland with our program «L’Art de Préluder». We will perform in 12 concerts throughout Switzerland, which we have organized all by ourselves. We are taking care of all the aspects of the organization, and so we are taking the responsibility to make it a success! This is why we kindly ask for your support.

Why our project is unique
«L’art de préluder» is a special program that combines improvised music, with the beautiful repertoire from the 18th century. We want to offer a new and different concert experience by connecting pieces with our improvised preludes. Furthermore, the program follows and creates a story as told in the famous play «Life is a dream» by the Spanish writer Pedro Calderón de la Barca .
