PLUSKA: Sustainable Luxury Fashion, Handcrafted with Heart

Discover PLUSKA, our brand of sustainable luxury leather goods made by skilled artisans. Join us in our mission to revolutionize the fashion industry!

The story behind the brand In 2015, my parents’ thriving shoe factory had to close, and I moved to Switzerland to study design management. My father gave me a handmade bag made from leather scraps, and the idea for PLUSKA was born.

Now, not even 10 years later, I have founded PLUSKA, a new way of thinking about fashion in the context of a sustainable economy.

Mission and vision PLUSKA stands for sustainability, exclusivity and social responsibility. Our vision is to transform the fashion industry by creating luxury products that have a positive social and environmental impact.

Product Description At PLUSKA, we handcraft bags and accessories from leather scraps collected from shoe and clothing factories that were not suitable for mass production in terms of quality or quantity. This means that each piece is treated individually, which makes each product unique. PLUSKA features a simple and timeless design that is meant to complement a variety of outfits and reduce the need for new trends.

Integration of local craftsmen In the production process, the company involves local craftsmen (women and men) over 50 who, due to their age and lack of digital skills, have difficulty regaining a foothold in the labor market. We offer them a chance to use their skills and experience in a supportive environment.

Social and environmental impact

Ecological sustainability Our artisans use leather scraps to create exclusive products, reducing waste. This helps solve a problem that causes about $500 billion in waste annually.

Social responsibility PLUSKA involves local artisans over 50 who have difficulty finding work because of their age. We pay fair wages and encourage re-employment.

Awards from ProHelvetia and the international Green Product Award (1st prize) won in July for the new premium line PLUSKA are confirmation and recognition of my vision to bring environment, fashion and social responsibility together.
