Hello to you,

It took us a little time to recover, and the timing before this premiere was very tight, but it is with joy that we share with you a small excerpt from this magnificent performance that we presented at Tanzmehr 2026 in Lucerne.

Thanks to you and your support, we truly had immense happiness sharing the stage among these 11 Branché·e·s and 6 Poussé·e·s.

Thank you for believing in it with us and for making this possible.

The magic and success were undeniable, so much so that today we are still considering possible follow-ups.

The first concrete proposal invites us to perform again (twice this time) in Zurich at the end of March.

Of course, we will keep you informed, and it would be a great pleasure to see you again to finally enjoy the fruit of your trust live on stage.

Looking forward to sharing more news with you, La Team VBJP !

A WONDERFUL 2026 TO YOU!By Commun·e·mpreinte, on 02/01/2026

We wish you all the best for this new year!
Above all, lots of laughter and joyful moments with your loved ones!

And since you helped us fulfill one of our first wishes of the year, it is with joy that we share with you, as a sneak peek, the beginning of the work carried out with the Branché·e·s in Zurich from December 16 to 18.

We also worked in Romont with the Poussé·e·s from the 28th to the 30th, and we are proud to announce that we now have a beautiful 20-minute creation draft that has finally emerged.

All that remains is to find a small slot to get together and combine the two elements of this piece, and then it will be the big night of the premiere in Lucerne!

We can’t wait to show you the final result!
It’s going to be beautiful, bright, poetic, and colorful… Everything we wish for you in your year!

See you soon!

Tanzmehr anderes festival commun is… a national platform for participatory, artistic dance projects, launched in autumn 2021 in Zurich as «Tanzmehr miteinander*es Tanzfestival». In 2026, the festival will enter its third round and will take place for the first time in Lucerne, under a new name: «Tanzmehr anderes festival commun».

On the Tanzmehr stage, we only show projects of Artistic Community Dance (ACD) - an independent form of dance that questions normative understandings of the body and dance. ACD stage works are developed together in co-creative processes by professional dancers and dancing life experts.

This is what we need
This is what we need

Hello everyone,

«WE MADE IT» thanks to all of you! We are very touched to share this first success with you. Thank you for your support and your trust, they are precious!

As for what’s next: Next week Laurie, Joëlle, & Roger, our choreographers and dramaturgs, will meet again with the Branché·e·s group for a final choreographic development work in preparation for the Tanzmehr Festival in January. Then there will be a session with the Poussé·e·s.

In mid-January we will find a way to bring the two groups together for a joint meeting before the performance on January 24th, where some of you will (we hope) surely be present.

At the same time, our director, Pierre Jaffeux, is working on creating a dedicated page for the project on our website, where of course we will feature your names.

In addition, two new teasers of our past experiences will be released, along with a recording of the final performance of our 20 minutes.

We also have other potential performances for these first 20 minutes, in France and Switzerland, but we will tell you more in due course.

In the meantime, we will continue to keep you informed of our progress!
Looking forward to talking with you,
Sincerely,
The VBJP team!

Because what we love above all is SHARING!

Everything in this project is designed and imagined to work as much as possible in the spirit of ’community dance’!

Also, most of the pieces used come from a project focused on the concept of improvisation, which our beatmaker @Imer Beat carried out with the pre-professional students of the Neuchâtel Music Conservatory, who were 10 to 16 years old at the time.

A world that combines classical rigor and hip hop sounds, which reflects the collective’s work, always at the crossroads of professional standards and popular connections!

You will only be able to hear them during our performance on Saturday, January 24 at the Tanzmehr Festival in Lucerne!

Come in large numbers!

Their Words
Their Words

Vieilles Branché·e·s Jeunes Poussé·e·s

At the crossroads of poetry, research, and experimentation, this project aims to create a unique play where empathy will be the guiding thread. More than a performance, it is an invitation to share, to meet, and to make our stories resonate together through movement and play.

Vieilles Branché·es Jeunes Pousse·es features 18 participants aged 12 to 88, thanks to the collaboration between Tanztheater DritterFrühling and the collectives Persona Grata and Commun·e·mpreinte.

What makes my project special Old-Timers Young Sprouts offers an intergenerational meeting between Swiss and French participants, where the themes explored are enriched by dialogue between the participants.

By confronting different perceptions of the body, time, and memory, we aim to question the ways in which each generation shapes its relationship with the world and with others. One of the main focuses will be the sharing of speech and memory.

What your support will be used for

Old Wired Young Shoots goes beyond choreographic creation: it is a laboratory of memory and transmission, where dance and images converse. From 2025 to 2028, it will unfold in three phases, combining meetings, experiments, and transmissions to give birth to a living, plastic, and documentary work.

Its first phase runs from October 2025 to the presentation of our first sketches (about 15 minutes) at the Tanzmehr Festival in Lucerne in January 2026.

Second Phase: January 2026-2027: Transition from a short 15-minute version to a longer version with lighting creation for performances.

Third phase: 2027-2028: Distribution of the completed documentary, as a tool for multidisciplinary mediation during training sessions, interventions, and meetings at festivals; in ’HOME’ or nursing homes/schools with dance/graphic/video mediation for various audiences and teacher training.
