ACCESS TO HEALTH: A CHILD'S FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT !
Thousands of children cannot be operated in their home country because of a lack of medical staff or bad infrastructure. Thanks to the specialized care program, Terre des hommes (Tdh) transfers every year 200 children in Switzerland to be operated in our university hospitals (Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève - HUG, Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois - CHUV and Inselspital Bern).
After their stay at La Maison de Massongex, once they have fully recovered, they can return home to their families. Local partners then provide follow-up care to ensure that they remain in good health.
In partnership with these university hospitals, Tdh organizes missions to train local medical staff and to treat ill children in their home country.

To be able to heal those children, we need to collect CHF 42’500.-
Why this amount ?
Over 2019, we will launch a surgical mission in Benin that will allow 20 children to be healed in one single week. Therefore we need to collect CHF 10’000.-
5 children already identified by Terre des hommes cannot be operated in their home country. Therefore we need to collect CHF 32’500.- to transfer them to Switzerland. This journey will save their life.

We need your help, every donation counts and gives hope to these children to live as every child, a happy and healthy childhood.
Every child in the world has the right to have access to health.
This campaign was launched by Terre des hommes – Helping children worldwide in Lausanne, number of register CH55000534256.
If we succeed, every donor will receive a donation receipt and the selected reward.
If we don’t reach the CHF 42’500.-, the donors will be refunded.
