We are building a well for clean water supply
Health, alongside education, is one of the crucial prerequisites for the development and quality of life of people in the equatorial region of Kenya.
It represents a fundamental prerequisite for development and quality of life in Kenya’s equatorial region. Characterized by a hot climate, the region’s inhabitants face additional specific health challenges due to climate change. In rural areas along the equator, access to clean water, sanitation, and medical care is often limited.
With our «Maji Nashipai» (translated swahili-Maa: Water of Happiness) project, we aim to build a well!
This will allow us to contribute to the well-being of a small Maasai community living in NOOMAYIANAT, VILLAGE at Kenyas border to Tanzania. It is located on the road from Kimana in Kajiado Province, which leads to the beautiful and world-famous Amboseli National Park. Due to climate change and irregular rainy seasons, the people there continue to suffer from water scarcity. As a result, the poorer segment of the population continues to live in unsanitary conditions, which in turn leads to disease. The consequences include job loss and children being permanently deprived of education. It’s a vicious cycle that can only be broken with our help.

The groundwater comes from Kilimanjaro and is of the highest quality. Those in need would not suffer from water shortages having filled their canisters for daily need.
