Bonjour à tous les contributeurs de notre projet 3e édition du FEMALE METAL FEST à Genève. Tout d’abord nous tenons à vous remercier chaleureusement pour votre aide bien précieuse. Ensuite, nous avons eu une séance avec le comité ORGANISATION de l’Association Wings Music & Events, co-producteur avec la salle Undertown à Genève. Les 10 membres actifs sont heureux de pouvoir réaliser cette soirée. Nous sommes en train de préparer :
- les badges accès à la soirée
- la coordination technique entre les groupes et la salle
- la gestion des bénévoles
- mise à jour de la billeterie en ligne avec un tarif à 15.-
- l’acceuil des artistes
- la sécurité
- mise en place de la production vidéo multicam et en direct
- communication aux médias - promotions sur les réseaux sociaux
- Impression des flyers et Affiches en ville de Genève et France voisine
- Organisation logement et transport des artistes
Vous avez, chers contributeurs, accès à la soirée et un mail va vous parvenir tout bientot. Pour les dons anonyme, nous vous invitons à inscrire une adresse mail sur le site http://www.alkemy.ch/wingsmusicevents en bas de page pour recevoir les news une fois par mois au maximum.

Hello to all the contributors of our project 3rd edition of the FEMALE METAL FEST in Geneva. First of all we would like to thank you warmly for your very valuable help. Then we had a meeting with the ORGANIZATION committee of the Wings Music & Events Association, co-producer with the Undertown venue in Geneva. The 10 active members are happy to be able to make this evening. We’re preparing:
- badges access to the evening
- technical coordination between the groups and the
- the management of volunteers
- update of the online ticketing with a tariff at 15.-
- Security
- implementation of multicam and live video production
- communication to the media - social media promotions
- Printing of flyers and Posters in Geneva and neighboring France
- Organizing and transporting artists

Switzerland is normally associated the beautiful mountains of the Alps. But from Switzerland there are a lot of outstanding rock and metal bands like Gotthard, Krokus, Shakra or Eluveitie. There is also a wide variety of bands (Burning Witches, Wicked Plan, November 7, Crystal Ball and many others) in this small country in the heart of Europe. Sadly, the performance opportunities are quite negligible for these smaller bands, so the musicians frequently take the initiative and organize their own small festivals. This is how the Female Metal Festival in Meyrin (Canton of Geneva) got started and it’s on its third round.
Organized as a small but fine festival by members of Alkemy from Geneva in cooperation with Wings Music & Events, the show will take place at Undertown, a small club for up to 250 music fans.
The hosts of the evening – who else but Alkemy? – are currently working on a conceptional album to support victims of violence. The Crowdfunding campaign, which was specially designed for this, but it unfortunately did not bring the desired success. Through profits of the festival it is hoped that the Swiss will be able to complete their ambitious project. And this goal is likely to be met with guests, including three bands from France and Italy.
Nightmare from Grenoble, France play classic Power Heavy Metal. This spring they were on a larger European tour and played in the biggest Metal Cruise the world, the 70,000 Tons f Metal. Also from France, but from Strasbourg, is Dust In Mind. They toured this year as the support of the Swedish Pain around the singer and guitarist Peter Tägtgren. The third band Aevum comes from the Italian metropolis of Turin. The Italians play a mixture of neo-classical opera metal and gothic metal. A trademark of the band is the high soprano voice of singer Lucille.
To finance this event, the organizers have launched a crowdfunding campaign. At https://wemakeit.com/projects/3e-female-metal-fest-geneva you can buy tickets and contribute to the success of the festival.
