Who We Are and What We Will Do
We are Chiara and Sarah, two 24-year-old friends who are passionate about education and social engagement. In November, we will be traveling to Mboro, Senegal, to volunteer at a kindergarten and a inclusive elementary school. For Chiara, this is familiar ground: in May 2022, she spent five weeks in Mboro, working closely with children, teachers, and the local community. This experience inspired us to return and make a long-term impact.
Mboro faces many challenges in education. Children often have limited access to quality education, and there is a lack of essential materials and infrastructure. Our role will be to support teachers, introduce innovative teaching methods, and develop projects that foster learning. We place great importance on using sustainable and durable learning materials that are both environmentally friendly and long-lasting, in order to provide children with the best possible learning conditions.
