It’s incredible how many supporters my project has already reached. My expectations have definitely been exceeded!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already participated! I won’t see exactly who supported me until after the campaign ends, which is why I can’t contact everyone personally yet.
I’m also very happy that so many of you have chosen a reward. I’ll do my best to send them out as quickly as possible after the campaign ends and schedule workshop dates – but I’d also appreciate your understanding if there are any delays.
In the meantime, I’ve already been able to put some of the shelves into production, which is possible thanks to your support! I’ve commissioned the carpentry workshop at Stiftung Bächtelen, where I also work part-time. So, a small part of the project is also contributing to meaningful work for apprentices.
Meanwhile, my home is partially transforming into a storage space for the constantly emerging products. It’s a fluid transition between work and home, so to speak, which I actually find quite positive.

I never thought that the second goal would be reached so quickly! Thank you so much! It’s incredible. A big thank you also to everyone who forwarded and shared the campaign!
Now I can afford a larger presentation area, which is really great. It also means I can have some of the shelves on which the products will be displayed manufactured externally, allowing me to concentrate on producing the products themselves.
The crowdfunding campaign will continue for another 25 days! And a final goal has been set. My goal is to continue pursuing my stool project ’leftovers’ in addition to the more «classic» woodturning products. Specifically, individual stools will be placed in the Kaiserhaus, but not for sale for the time being, rather for free use and as a test phase for me. The stools are made from scrap wood and are manufactured using pure wood joints, such as the wood welding process. (You can find out more about this on my website: https://www.ramonahess.ch/leftovers) So far, the stools have only been on display at exhibitions and are not yet for sale. The next goal will therefore help me with this production and the continuation of the project. To this end, I have added a new exclusive reward: 3 stools – before they are even available for sale.

Your support overwhelms me! After just a few days, I’ve already reached the first goal. This means that I can take the step toward having my own small presentation and exhibition space – the first few months are now secured.
I’m already deep in the planning phase. There’s a lot to do and decide: collection concept, shelving design, digital content, packaging design, event concept… and many more details I probably haven’t even thought of yet.
The crowdfunding continues, and a next goal has been set! The additional funds will help me outsource certain tasks instead of handling everything myself (for example, having packaging and labels professionally printed). It also allows me to consider a slightly larger space. And last but not least, it supports me in investing in my craft and my brand, taking another step closer to being able to make a living from it.
