DEUTSCH: Endlich ist es soweit: Wir sind stolz, euch den Song ’Handgeschrieben’ von unserem neuen Album ’Wegweiser’ exklusiv über Metal Factory präsentieren zu können. Das Album wurde dank eurer tollen Unterstützung (Crowdfunding) finanziert und es freut uns daher umso mehr, euch nun endlich einen ersten Einblick geben zu können. Ohne euch wäre dieses Album in dieser Form nicht möglich gewesen – Danke! Wir wünschen viel Spass beim Hören und können es kaum erwarten, das ganze Album endlich ganz präsentieren zu können!
«Wegweiser» wird am 4. Juli über das deutsche Label SAOL - Service For Artist Owned Labels veröffentlicht. Am Samstag, 5. Juli, taufen wir dann die CD im Konzerthaus Schüür in Luzern (Schweiz). Mit dabei sind zudem Nothgard aus Deutschland, sowie der Luzerner Act Axxelerator. Das wird ein Fest!
ENGLISH: It’s finally time: We’re proud to present to you guys our new song «Handgeschrieben», which is taken from our upcoming album «Wegweiser». Your amazing support (Crowdfunding) has helped finance this album and we’re therefore even happier to be able to give you a first preview of our new CD. Without your help this album wouldn’t have been possible in this form – Thank you all! Have fun listening the song. We can’t wait to share with you our full album!
«Wegweiser» will be released on July 4 through the German label SAOL. On Saturday, July 5, we’ll celebrate the release of the new album at the Schüür club in Lucerne, Switzerland. The German band Nothgard and the local act Axxelerator will join us as well. It’s going to be one hell of a party!

Leider müssen wir euch mitteilen, dass wir unser neues Album «Wegweiser» nicht wie geplant am 30. Mai veröffentlichen werden. Das Album wird um einen Monat auf den Samstag, 5. Juli 2014, verschoben. Grund für diese Verzögerung sind zwei sich kreuzende Aufnahmetermine im New Sound Studio. Ein ausführliches Statement dazu gibt es hier:
«Liebe Abinchova-Fans – Wie ihr erfahren habt, mussten Abinchova leider ihre Plattentaufe verschieben. Dies weil sie ihre CD-Produktion nach hinten schieben mussten. Und dies haben sie getan, um Eluveitie einen riesigen Gefallen zu tun: die Produktion von Eluveitie, welche ebenfalls im New Sound Studio stattfinden wird, musste nämlich verschoben werden und Abinchova haben sich netterweise bereit erklärt, ihre bereits reservierte Zeit für Eluveitie frei zu geben. Als Manager von Eluveitie bin ich den Freunden von Abinchova unglaublich dankbar und bitte die Fans der Band um Verständnis für das tolle, freundschaftliche Vorgehen der Band. Wir von Abinchova möchten euch ein absolut geiles Album abliefern und diese zusätzliche Zeit wird es uns erlauben, das Album ohne Kompromisse fertigstellen zu können. Wir können es kaum erwarten, euch die ersten Songs von unserer neuen Platte «Wegweiser» hören zu lassen :-D
Sadly, we have to announce that our new album «Wegweiser» won’t be released as planned on May 30. The release of the full-length is going to be postponed to the following date: Saturday, July 5. The reason for this delay are two conflicting shedules at the New Sound Studio. A statement regarding this situation can be found here:
«Dear Abinchova fans – As you may already know, Abinchova will have to postpone their release party. This is due to the fact that they had to push back their production schedule. They did this in order to do Eluveitie a huge favour: the production of Eluveitie’s new album, which is also being recorded at the New Sound Studio, has been delayed as well and Abinchova have agreed to let go of their scheduled studio time. As the manager of Eluveitie I’m immensely thankful for my friends at Abinchova and I hope all you Abinchova fans will understand the awesome and friendly manner Abinchova have dealt with this matter. CROWDFUNDING – Ziel erreicht!
Nach 60 Tagen Laufzeit ist es nun endlich soweit: Unser Crowdfunding-Projekt ist vorbei! Über 100 Personen haben in unser neues Album «Wegweiser» investiert und es uns ermöglicht, das Ziel von 10’000 Schweizer Franken zu erreichen und zu übertreffen – Danke euch allen für diesen hammer Einsatz! Insgesamt wurden 14’530 Schweizer Franken gesammelt (ca.11’800 Euro / 16’000 US Dollar). Das gesammelte Geld wird vollumfänglich unserer Albumproduktion zukommen. Wir werden Anfang 2014 im New Sound Studio zusammen mit Tommy Vetterli mit den Albumaufnahmen beginnen und hoffen, dass wir euch unser neues Werk gegen Mitte 2014 präsentieren können. In der Zwischenzeit werden wir euch mit Studio-Updates, neuen Songausschnitten und weiteren tollen Ankündigungen auf dem Laufenden halten – Wir gehen mit Vollgas weiter! Danke nochmals an euch allen für die unglaubliche Unterstützung. Ohne euch wäre das alles schlichtweg nicht möglich! :D
CROWDFUNDING – We did it!
After a running time of 60 days, our crowdfunding project has finally come to an end! Over 100 people have funded our new album «Wegweiser» and made it possible for us to reach and surpass our goal of 10’000 Swiss Francs – Thank you all for your amazing support! All in all, our project ended with an amount of 14’530 Swiss Francs (around 11’800 Euro / 16’000 US Dollar). Every cent will be put towards to production of our new album. We’ll enter the new sound studio with Tommy Vetterli in early 2014 and hope to release our new full-length in mid-2014. In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted with studio updates, new sound-snippets, and other great announcements – We go full steam ahead! Thanks again for your incredible support. Das Crowdfunding-Projekt unserer Band Abinchova nähert sich seinem Ende zu. Bis Samstag, 12. Oktober (um 14:00), könnt ihr noch in unser Projekt investieren! Doch das Crowdfunding-Projekt zu unserem neuen Album «Wegweiser» ist noch nicht beendet. Ihr könnt weiterhin unsere Aufnahmen im New Sound Studio bei Tommy Vetterli/Tommy T. Baron (u.a. Eluveitie) mitfinanzieren und dabei Teil dieser Produktion werden. Jede Investition wird mit etlichen Goodies und Extras belohnt, welche exklusiv und nur über unser Crowdfunding Projekt auf wemakeit.ch erhältlich sind. Wir haben unser Ziel erreicht – Wie weiter?

Wir sind sprachlos! In nur 17 Tagen haben wir es geschafft, unser Crowdfunding-Ziel von 10’000.- Schweizer Franken zu erreichen und zu übertreffen. Danke an alle, die unser Projekt unterstützt haben, sei es nun mit einem kleinen oder grossen Betrag oder auch nur, in dem ihr unser Projekt mit euren Freunden geteilt habt. Zusammen haben wir es geschafft, die Finanzierung unseres neuen Abinchova Albums «Wegweiser» Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen. Wahnsinn!
Doch das Projekt ist noch nicht zu Ende! Bis am 12. Oktober läuft unser Crowdfunding noch und man darf gerne weiter in unser Album investieren. Jeder zusätzliche Franken wird verwendet, um die Produktion zu verbessern, eine noch schönere Hülle zu gestalten oder vielleicht sogar ein Musikvideo zu drehen. Wir werden nichts verschwenden!
Auch bietet das Crowdfunding-Projekt eine gute Möglichkeit, das Album vorab zu kaufen und dabei exklusive Goodies abzustauben: Alle Crowdfunding-Extras (bis auf das Album selbst) sind exklusiv und nur über das Crowdfunding-Projekt auf wemakeit.ch zu erhalten. We reached our crowdfunding goal – Now what?
We’re speechless! In only 17 days, we’ve managed to reach and surpass our crowdfunding goal of 10’000.- Swiss Francs. We thank everyone who managed to contribute to our project, be it in a small or big way or even if you just shared our project with your friends. Together we made it possible to finance our new album «Wegweiser». Awesome!
But the project is not at an end yet! Our crowdfunding ends on October 12 and you’re all welcome to further invest in our album. Every additional Swiss Franc will be put towards our album, be it for an even better production, a more beautiful packaging, or even for the shooting of a new music video. No money will go to waste!
Also, the crowdfunding project presents a good opportunity to already buy our new album and get some awesome goodies as well: all crowdfunding extras (except for the album itself) will exclusively and only be available through our crowdfunding project.
