I have been the President of Mama Tierra since its inception. In July 2018 and January 2020, I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting the Alta Guajira artisans. This allowed me to learn greatly about their culture, their dreams and their many needs. More importantly, these visits have served to solidify a life-long relationship with the Wayuu peoples.
