ArtTech Hack:
We’re selecting students from creative and tech backgrounds who work with data, robotics, creative coding, and experimental interfaces. Interdisciplinary teams will work intensively for three days alongside on-site mentors from both artistic and technical fields, and we’ll conclude with a public exhibition of the strongest prototypes and artworks after the hackathon.
Why ArtTech Hack:
Zurich has some of the best creative and tech talent, with its universities (ZHdK, ETH, UZH and others) just minutes apart, but the disciplines rarely meet. We’re on a mission to build an interdisciplinary community in Zurich, because we believe the big challenges of our time can only be solved when we leave our own bubbles and open ourselves to new perspectives.
Why we need your support:
- Food: meals for participants, mentors, and jury. (Drinks are already covered by our beverage sponsors.)
- Materials & equipment: T-shirts, marketing, photography, and videography to document the projects and give them a life beyond the weekend.
- Mentors & speakers: travel support and small thank-you gifts for the mentors and jury who guide teams throughout the weekend.
- Space & infrastructure: cleaning and insurance costs to keep the venue running smoothly.
